The Clinician is responsible for overseeing and providing treatment for a caseload of clients and families being served by KidsPeace Foster Care and Community Programs including the Family Reunification Program. This person leads treatment teams in the design, implementation, and documentation of individualized programming within the framework of these programs. The Clinician is responsible for direct service delivery (program specific), and/or the oversight of assigned cases, clinical and/or administrative supervision of the KidsPeace members of the treatment team, and chairing the intake, review and discharge meetings. An average of 20 billable hours per week or 60% of work time assigned to programs using hourly unit billing needs to be billable and shall be provided by the Clinician to the children and families receiving outpatient, children's behavioral health, or other services billed in hourly units. In addition to these clinical and case management responsibilities, the position may also involve assisting the Site Manager and Administrators of KidsPeace New England with responsibilities (as assigned) including, but not limited to, hiring, training and orienting new staff, program design and development, participation in quality assurance and organizational performance improvement processes, and the maintenance of relationships with funding, regulatory and licensing entities.

Masters or higher degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or other related Human Services field.

Maine licensed mental health practitioner (LCPC, LCPC Conditional, LMFT, LCSW, LMSW Conditional (Clinical),Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Licensed Psychologist).

Two years experience required (with home-based clinical services, treatment foster care services, residential treatment, crisis intervention services, or other mental health programming serving children/adolescents with special behavioral health needs or other cognitive/emotional disabilities). Experience with child victims of abuse/neglect preferred.
